We are one of the most state-of-the-art companies in the steel construction market in Europe. For more than 30 years, we have specialised in advanced steel construction technologies. Many years of experience, a specialised workforce and the necessary certificates and authorisations enable us to provide steel structures for commercial, sports, industrial and public buildings.
Thanks to the immediate vicinity of the Metalcynk galvanising plant belonging to the ZINQ Group, with a bath of 19 000 mm x 1 900 mm x 3 300 mm and a paint shop, we can offer our customers high quality corrosion protection.
We have completed many orders for foreign customers from Germany, England, Austria, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the USA, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, among others, making us a reliable partner for investments, and our manufacturing capacity fluctuates between 1 200-1 500 tonnes per month.
We have state-of-the-art machinery for processing sections and sheets at two locations to meet even the highest demands of our customers. We work with Kaltenbach, Ficep, Gietart, Stierli, Peddinghaus and Gerima brand machines. We provide camber of beams or welding of so-called “Nelson studs” for further bonding to the reinforced concrete structure

METALBARK joins the Polish Chamber of Steel Structures
Since 12 June 2018, Zbigniew Barłóg, CEO of Metalbark Sp. z o.o. serves also as the President of the Polish Chamber of Steel Structures.

Our 10,000 m2 manufacturing hall in Bydgoszcz was built in 2013. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from the best machine manufacturers in the steel construction market.

Our second manufacturing plant in Nowa Wieś Wielka is where it all began in 1991. It has a 3 600 m² manufacturing hall, equipped with specialised equipment for metal pre-treatment (thermal and mechanical cutting), machining, assembly and welding work, as well as finishing (shot-blasting) and painting at an additional 170 m² paint shop.

The idea of establishing a football team was conceived during the winter of 2014/2015. At the time, no one dared to think about playing in Extraliiga.pl, Playarena, etc., let alone making it to the top of the league tables. The goal of the team was to provide an opportunity for our staff to spend their time after work in an active way. However, after some “training sessions” together, we decided to test our abilities in the lowest 3rd division of the ALSP Bydgoszcz for a start. Despite some injuries and staff shortages in our first season of playing together, Metalbark managed to take 4th place in the league and thus win 4th place at the 6th Polish Energy and Steel Structures Championships. Combined with our ambitions, this first season made us want to expand our team and compete for more significant trophies the following year. This is how we have built a team, which continues to be successful to this day in the Bydgoszcz arena as well as in the national arena of six-a-side football.
The team's greatest successes include: Polish Champion at the 7th Polish Energy Industry and Steel Structures Championships 2016 or 1st place winner at the 6th PSSE Sopot Board Cup 2020. The team has been also the champion of the Playarena.pl Bydgoszcz league a number of times, as well as the winner of many minor trophies at company tournaments. With the commitment of our players, the number of trophies and awards is growing.
